The film production company based in London, ITN Studios, and Jagged Edge roductions are back yet again with a horror adaptation of a beloved animated classic this time Bambi.

The brand fresh Bambi terror film called Bambi: The Reckoning, will be a version of the classic 1942 Disney film that is an adaptation of the 1923 book Bambi, a Life in the Woods.

It will be directed by Scott Jeffery, famous for making other horror films, like Dragon Fury, The Bad Nun, and The Curse of Humpty Dumpty.

He is said to be working with producer Rhys Fake-Waterfield who is also the director of Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey.

The film will start production in the month of January 2023, around a month ahead of Blood and Honey's release on February 15, 2023.

Although no plot details have been announced yet, Jeffrey has shared that the Bambi horror film will feature

the titular deer taking on a brutal rampage after the murder of his mother who was murdered by hunters in the first film.

"The movie will feature a dark adaptation of the 1928 story that we know and love. Drawing inspiration from the style that was used in the Netflix series

The Ritual, Bambi will be a brutal killing machine that is lurking in the wild. Be prepared for Bambi with Rabies!" Jeffrey said in an announcement.
